I recently re-installed windows as my SSD's were starting to clutter up, and after reinstalling all the latest drivers and Java 8u20, I tried running Minecraft. I am able to log in and lauch to the home screen. I crash about 2 seconds after logging in to any server / creating a world.

I've already tried using different versions of the launcher (Vanilla EXE, Vanilla EXE that does not need Java, Vanilla JAR, Technic EXE). I have the latest drivers from AMD installed (14.2 Catalyst).

Try using the latest java, v8u25.

Be sure to uninstall the old java first.

Hmm, seems like that did the trick! It's a little confusing though, on my old install, I had to purposefully downgrade to a lower version because MC kept on crashing on 8u25.

Must have had something that was clashing with u25 that was cleaned out with your reinstall.

Make sure your video drivers are up to date. Other threads relating to this issue involve out of date AMD drivers, which your graphics card is.

I have the latest drivers from AMD's website (Considering I just installed windows a day ago). Also, I have tried multiple older versions, did not work either :/
