I installed the new version of minecraft on my new desktop computer and encountered some errors. I'm running windows 8.1 pro.

That computer might be "new" but its hardware is dated. You also cannot run Minecraft version 1.7.4 and above.

Thank you for the help this solved my problem even though it said i was installing an older driver than what i had
