Perhaps I'm just a complete technology and minecraft noob, but I've discovered a major issue (for me, at least) in the game. I've recently installed Minecraft on my new computer, and, as I find the base controls to be awkward and frustrating, went to try to change the keys. However, I was only able to change about 4 or 5, as the scroll bar wouldn't move. I tested it for every aspect in the options as well as for the creative inventory. Scrolling seems impossible. I tried to connect my xbox controller to my pc but it doesn't work with minecraft so I was stuck using my touchpad. It seems I'm the only one with this issue but I'm hoping someone can tell me how to fix this problem so I can finally change the controls.
Also, I'm unable to select a world in the single player menu, I can only create worlds.

I have no idea how to play Minecraft... my children love it. They have been playing pocket edition until now. I am having this same problem on two new computers. They can't scroll on the Inventory screen. "Knightofbreath3", did you get it to work? Any ideas?
