Hi there, I've seen a couple of threads along the lines of this, but if they have been helped the solution has not worked for me.
My problem is that if I walk in a straight line I can do about 200 FPS, but as soon as I turn my head at all it drops to below 20 for a couple of seconds and the goes back to the 200. I'm not sure what could be causing it but I will leave my specs down below. Any help would be awesome!
Specs: CPU: AMD A-10 5800K (Quad-Core) 3.80 Ghz GPU: MSI R9 280X OC editon with 3Gb DDR5 RAM: 8Gb Corsair $ of which is allocated to MC
OS: Windows 7 64-bit Java: Version 7 update 71 (build 1.7.0_71-b14) I believe it is 64-bit.
My settings are: Graphics: Fast Render Distance: 5 Chunks Smooth Lighting: Off Max Framerate: Unlimited 3D Anaglyph: Off View Bobbing: Off
GUI Scale: Normal, Brightness: Bright Clouds: Off Particles: Decreased Fullscreen: Off Use VSync: Off Mipmap Levels: 4 Alternate Blocks: Off Use VBOs: ON Entity Shadows: Off
Again any assistance that you can give would be incredibly appreciated. Thank you in advance for the help.
