My problem is: Soon as I finished loading the launcher, the game crashes even before I see the main menu of the game.

This is very strange for a vanilla client. If this keeps happening, your launcher may be outdated and need to delete Minecraft. If so, copy all your Minecraft worlds and put it in %appdata%>.minecraft>saves once re-inatalled. But, you may not need to fear for the worst.

It can be fixed, just keep trying, and do what I said just in case if your Minecraft is broken in any way.

Ive got mineshafter which is a cracked launcher.
Does that matter?

Another thing is, I just switched to a new hard disk, and with the previous one it just worked fine
but with this one I couldnt even enter minecraft once.

Are your drivers properly updated?
Is LWJGL up to date?
Is OpenGL supported for your Graphics card?

I dont really know how to download opengl and lwjgl but i know that i have my graphics driver updated.
I have windows 7 and bcoz of that I searched in there lwjgl and opengl and there were no results.
