Not sure if this belongs in this thread, but it seemed more applicable here than in general discussion. If I'm wrong, please alert me. Anyways, this is not about how to get something working, but rather WHY it's working.
I have a poor processor, with a default of 1.3GHz, and it's soldered in to my laptop. Alot of people say this processor would have trouble pushing MC, but after disabling a service called 'p2psvc', my Minecraft has always been sticking at the 30FPS mark I set; the only lag I encounter is when there are alot of entities and explosion in one area, when a world is loading, if I've traveled to several dimensions in one sitting, and when I'm generating new chunks. Besides those, the game has been going considerably. I also have several automated farms going on, a solar mill, wind mill, and crop mill for power (which has 6 Ender IO farms that use constant power, all of them very big, but the game doesn't budge on speed unless it's one of the aforementioned situations. Along with that, all my farms have chunk loaders, so they run unless I apply a redstone signal (which I haven't done yet).
The interwebs says Minecraft would be running terribly with this processor pushing all of this, and it really makes me curious why it's pulling through so well. My computer is a laptop with no special game-enhancing programs, and only 2gigs of RAM allocated. The only enhancement asset I use is Optifine. The only things turned off are animated textures/terrain, fancy trees, and I use a 4-chunk view when traveling to new areas, and 6-chunk view when exploring land already generated.
Is this normal at all, and if it isn't, why is it running as well as it is? Like I've said, I've heard many say people need a much better processor to run the game smoothly (even the website says you need a better one), but I'm questioning if that's an error or a general fact.
In case you need my computer stats:
Processor: AMD E-300 APU with Radeon HD Graphics - 1.30 GHz.
4.00 GB (3.60 usable)
64-bit OS, x64-based processor
And I'm using Java 8
This is not a critical message, just something that has been bugging me, and I'm hoping I can get answers.
Thanks in advance.

And then a .jar named 'ejml-0.23.jar' in a folder named 'ic2'.
So like others mentioned, this is a bit too little info to speculate.
We'll need Minecraft's version, modlist (or at least the number of mods installed), screen/window resolution. Also set FPS to unlimited/max, Minecraft's FPS limiter actually lowers performance I hear.

Fixed and added at the bottom of the original post. Sorry about that.
