Ok so, I installed some new hardware into my computer
quad core A10 7700K AMD
nvidia geforce GTX 770
16GB ram
new motherboard
64bit win 7 ultimate
With those specs you'd think ''oh minecraft should run great'', but no... My first experience was logging into a newly created world. NOTHING loaded, no terrain or anything. It was all black below and blue above. It took for ever for the game to load the terrain. After the terrain loaded I got huge lag, I was destroying blocks and moving across the land, but I wasn't picking up the blocks, then after a few minutes I rubber band back to where I spawned. Another thing is, when it finally loads It'll be fine for a minute, then I freeze, then unfreeze, freeze, then unfreeze, over and over every second. Is there a reason for this? I've updated java to the latest update.
Edit: When I try to save and quite it freezes the game.
