In Mc, whenever I try to set my render distance to anything above 4 or 5 chunks, it suddenly gets really weird. (Really hard to explain, bear with me) It seems to copy and paste one piece of the world, and make it into a huge grid. If I move my mouse at all, it will switch between 6 or 7 more copy/paste grids similar to the first one, all in a few seconds. I have seen this in 1.8.1 vanilla and in 1.7.10 Optifine. Please help, it is really annoying and renders (see what I did there?) the game unplayable.

Also some claim that turning VBOs on solves the issue.
