I just recently downloaded minecraft because my previous version stopped working, but in this one, every time I want to log in it shows me this:



Can you tell me how to fix this?

Is your internet turned on? If you're on WiFi, there should be a WiFi Icon in the top right corner of your screen. Click that and select your network and log in.

Your security settings may also be blocking it. Go to system preferences and click "Security & Privacy". Check all the tabs to see if any are blocking Minecraft or Minecraft related internet connections.

There is also a possibility that Mojang's login servers were down. If that was the case, just wait for them to come back online.

I am fully connected to the internet, and there is nothing in "Security & Privacy" that seems to be blocking it. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

It's just that I can't log in. I use my usual login information, but every time it says "Sorry, but we couldn't connect to our servers. Please make sure that you are online and that Minecraft is not blocked."

Can someone please help?

Did you try with the email you used to make your account? That's how I log in.

I've been using my email for my user name, I have googled so many times that I've lost count, and I have reinstalled both minecraft and java multiple times, but unfortunately, It still doesn't work
