hello. I am not very intelligent when it comes to things like this, but I was wondering what the best amount of RAM to allocate to my game is... I have 8GB of RAM by the way and I am running 64bit windows 7. (if that matters)

Vanilla minecraft? Not alot, tbh 1 gig should be fine.

so if it says "-Xmx1G" in the JVM arguments in my profile edit thing it is 1gb of ram, right? sorry i hardly know anything about this
