Your question is whether or not it can run Minecraft, it most certainly can. How well it will run will be a different story, and that I cannot really say.
I used to play on an i5-3210m + Radeon 7670M graphics (until the laptop went boom lol). I was able to play MC 1.7 with no problems at all on medium to far view distance, with many mods installed. IIRC I also used a 64px texture pack for quite a while as well.
But to the point; Your laptop is similar to mine, actually a little bit better probably. Since I had no problems, you should have no problems, especially from MC 1.8 and beyond. Super-Ultra-Mega-HD textures and SEUS shaders and so on would probably be starting to push things, but whatever.
