I downloaded Minecraft for my kids to play as a Christmas present, but we can't get it to load past the Mojang screen. Please help! My kids are driving me nuts!
I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium SP1. The system is a Core2Duo 2 GHz., with 2 GB ram.

I have uninstalled every version of JAVA and installed the 64 bit version, then reinstalled Minecraft. Nothing changed. Is there anything in the error report file that would help?
Edit: Before trying the procedure below, consult the website where your graphics card is made and look for the most updated drivers. If you cannot find them, let me know and I will try to link them to you.
Hello there. I am not sure what anyone else will tell you, but I have encountered that same problem and the only solution I could find was to use a mod called optifine. After installing it, you can lower the settings manually in the game's files and you should be good to go.
If you cannot figure any of that out, feel free to contact me on skype @ acecard111 and I can do a step by step guide with you.
