Greetings,
I am having some issues with Minecraft Forge in terms of performance. I am getting severe lag spikes with when I install Minecraft Forge. However, in vanilla Minecraft everything runs butter smooth with max settings. I have tried installing Optifine, but it did not help at all with the lag. Also I dedicated more memory to Minecraft. (2GB)
Does anybody have any suggestions in resolving this issue.
NOTE- I did not install any mods along with Forge; only when I tried Optifine.
Minecraft 1.7.10 has some bad code that made some weird lag, only way to fix it I could find is this mod. hope this helps!
(also the mod is a bit buggy still, may have compatibility issues, especially with optifine)

Thanks for the reply, the mod you recommenced worked very well. The stuttering was mostly resolved. Unfortunately as a result my FPS suffered. I used to get 400+ fps, now I hover around 75.
Also the vanilla 1.7.10 code seems fine to me. As mentioned in my post, the performance of vanilla 1.7.10 was butter smooth with everything maxed out; and I had 400+ fps. I started to have to have performance issues after I installed Forge.
Anyway I appreciate your post, and it did solve my issue, but I will keep the thread open just in case someone else has some input.
