I just got a new Dell latitude E6400 laptop for Christmas and my first thought was "yay now I can play minecraft with my friends" but I press play on the minecraft login screen and it starts up partially. Soon after it crashes and says "We're sorry but it seems there was an error while trying to render the aspects of the game. To solve this error it is recommended that you update your graphics drivers. If you are unsure of how to update your drivers, please click 'Fix the problem'for more information. Then I try to "fix the problem" but it says there are no new driver updates and I am all caught up. But then I go to open up minecraft again and it does the same thing and gives me a crash report which makes no sense to me at all. Please help because I really want to be able to play minecraft with my new computer that I just got mostly for this. Thanks!

There is obviously a problem with your GPU. Press the Windows Key and R button at the same time to open the run dialog. In there, type "dxdiag" (without quotes). When opened, click on the Display tab and reply back with what the name of the GPU is. (Should be something like Intel HD Graphics 2000)

Okay I think I have a solution: Download this file http://goo.gl/ZQtO3B and run it. Let it install. Then, press the windows key to open the search box and search for "Device Manager" (no quotes). Then, click on the Display Adapters tab and right click on your chipset. Select Update Driver Software. A dialog window should pop up. Choose Browse My Computer and then Let Me Pick. Once it is done searching, choose the option that DOES NOT end in (Microsoft Corporation -....) Click Next, and let it install. Reboot and your MC should work.
