When I'm playing minecraft, sometimes the game will freeze. There's no lag prior to the freeze, or any indication of when it is going to happen. The graphics stop responding. However, I can still switch apps. When I try to do something in another app, it freezes, until my entire computer is locked up. Strangely, the application switcher never freezes... nor does my mouse. The only thing I can do is power off my machine with the power button and restart. This happens in both 1.7 and 1.8, as well as 1.8.1. I'm running OS X 10.10 Yosemite on a 21.5 inch mid-2011 iMac. I have no idea what's causing it... anybody have ideas? Thanks!
In the logs, about a minute before the crash, I get this error like 30 times:
[16:02:23] [Client thread/ERROR]: Couldn't save server list
java.io.IOException: Failed to delete /Users/aram/Library/Application Support/minecraft/servers.dat

Then, after another like 40 seconds, it just says "Stopping!", then "SoundSystem shutting down...".
Then, I get warning (like [TIME] [Client thread/WARN], instead of [TIME] [Client thread/INFO]) that says: "Author: Paul Lamb, paulscode.com"... is this a virus, a contributor? Anyways, anybody have ideas?
