Minecraft works fine while playing on my laptop for about 20 minutes, but then I start noticing some flickering graphics and before long, I've got entire fields and mountains vanishing from sight. I can still walk on these areas, and I can see the creatures and caves spawned below them, but as you can imagine, it ruins the game. The client doesn't crash or anything, it just gets wonky.

It's weird 'cause the game runs pretty well with a great draw distance and smooth gameplay. I've even tried using the fast settings and dropping everything down to the lowest settings I could without modding. I also tried boosting the RAM or whatever, but I've got limited RAM on this crapper so I can't do much.

I assume it's my laptop crapping out on me, so I thought I'd post and see if some of you tech-guys can help an old timer.

I've got the game on Xbox, so If I absolutely can't play on the PC, it ain't no biggy. But man, is it SOOOO much better on it.

I've got Java 1.8.0 64 Bit (methinks)

I don't run mods and I don't play online (does that matter?).

EDIT: Opps, I forgot, I DO use a Texture Pack. But this happens both while using it and while not.

Yes I have. I've lowered anything that I thought may help. I haven't installed Optifine or anything because I wasn't sure I needed it, or even how to use it.
