I was given a laptop with windows 8 (which I have never used before and I own a Mac). It is for my kids and they want Minecraft on it. I have purchased and downloaded the game for $30 which now won't run as the graphics need updated. yeah that laptops graphics are not supported in windows 8, intel stopped supporting it at windows 7
your choice really is to downgrade windows to 7, use linux, or try manually force installing the 7 drivers (which may not work and is down to you to try and the responsibility is all yours)
