So I accidentally opened my 1.7.10 world in 1.8.1 and when I tried to reload it in 1.7.10 all my items were gone, and my villagers GUI s were blank the only thing the stayed was cobblestone I was smelting. I've been playing on this world for almost a year and I don t want to restart, is there anyway to fix this and get my stuff back or it is gone for good?

I know, that happened to me and I was so mad!
Sadly there's no way you can recover those items unless you can remember them and go into creative.
