Not 100% sure if this is the correct thread to post in but it.
I was wondering if anyone can tell me why I lagg like crazy in minecraft when running it on "semi-high" graphics? getting like 20-30 frames
I need to run it on all the minimum graphics n stuff in order for my to play, even have it on 2-3 rendering distance which rather sucks..
My computer is starting to get a bit old, might be that but I think it atleast should handle minecraft since I can run most other games on pretty high graphics!
My specs are:
XFX Radeon HD 7950 3GB GDDR5
16 GB Ram
Intel Core i7-3770 Processor
Asus Maximus V formulia, socket-1155
I'm not very good with computers so dont know if you need more info!

Hi yeah I got java 64! Installed it the other day x)
Anyway I have no idea how to check if my drivers are up to date, and I asked my mates about this Slimdrivers, and they said as u said, it might get the wrong driver and all that jazz.. so not sure if I'd trust that 1:>
havnt tried the optifine mod thingy, could you give me a link? Is it reliable? do I need to update it from time to time?
And I have no idea what "Gt is NinaConfidence" means.. x)
