The only mod im using is the Lightmod launcher so i can use Zan's Minimap.
Here's the problem and im almost sure it isnt the mod's fault. There are certain things that i break that doesn't give me an item.
Torches
Mushrooms
flowers
Im not much of a pc minecrafter but last time i played, i could break torches and get a torch. now if i break them it's like playing in creative, they just disappear. same with mushrooms and flowers. Do i need a specific tool to mine Torches, flowers, and mushrooms?
Also, when i place all my chests my inventory will show i chest icon that has the number 0 next to it, then when i left click to place the "0 chest" it just disappears. Same goes with furnaces. is this suppose to happen?
Edit- The map was made in 1.8.1 but i play it in 1.8 because of the light-mod launcher.

Were you transferring your world between different versions forward and back?
It would also help if we knew what versions you're talking about. For example, copy paste of your launcher log + game output from the MC launcher would help.
Definitely not normal. I've never used the Lightmod launcher, but it's not normal to not get torches, mushrooms, or flowers from not breaking them in Vanilla, unless you're in creative of course.

Well i think i actually did that just once. i made the world for 1.8.1 but when i downloaded the Lightmod thing i went to 1.8 light-mod forge and ive been playing that since. could that have been the problem? i would do the other thing as well but as i said. im not a pc minecrafter so i really wouldn't know what that is.

I figured out the problem. it appears something went wrong with the loader. I'll have to inform them of the bug.
