Hi, me and my brother want to change our name. We share an account, that's why. Is this possible? We already have minecraft, but you know in the beginning in the launcher it asks you to put your majoang email and password, could we both have different names if we have two different mojang accounts? Like, if [email protected] is a mojang account and that person bought minecraft and downloaded it and plays it. Then, can someone else that has mojang account [email protected], can they log-in and play w their mojang email on the same computer? Not at the same time, taking turns I mean. Thank you all for the help!
If only [email protected] bought the game, then [email protected] would not be able to play.
The reason for this is because when you buy Minecraft it is tied to your E-mail, not your computer. This is also why you have to have internet to login.

if you have different accounts then just log in with the different accounts and there will be different names, the name you got when you registered.

Like, [email protected] is a Mojang account and that person bought Minecraft and plays it. Then, can someone else that has Mojang account [email protected] log-in and play with their Mojang E-mail on the same computer using the same copy?
That's not a clarification at all. You can play with as many different Minecraft accounts that you have paid for on one copy of Minecraft that you have downloaded. Or you can play with them on different copies.
Bottom line, one name per purchase.
