Can I just say, I wasn't expecting this. I get a new computer, I install Java and Minecraft, and some other games, then I run Minecraft and open the debug menu hoping that my FPS is around 60-100. And guess what it displayed? 15. Come on! Can anyone help increase this number over there? And don't ask me to decrease my video quality. I don't like it.
Specifications (The simple ones):
CPU: Intel CORE i7 - 4710HQ
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M
RAM: 8GB of DDR3 (861MB assigned)
Java: Version 8 Update 25 (64-bit)
OS: Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
[If you need anything else from me just ask, and quick fact, if you assign more RAM to minecraft, it only helps you if you actually use it.]
Oh, and just saying, if I overclock my GPU to 1.1Ghz (1173Mhz), it runs at around 160-200 FPS. Even though the default clock speed is 901Mhz. I don't know why a 200Mhz clockspeed increase can affect Minecraft that much.
