I am using Minecraft with forge 1.7.10, with Mo' Creatures, Mr. Crayfish's furniture mod, and Optifine.
I can load all of my worlds without a problem, but when I try to join my sister's worlds via LAN it doesn't work. I even tried direct connect with the ip and port number it gives you when you /publish you're world. Every time I try to get onto her world, it says mod rejected with something like [FML{3.4.2}] following. Both our firewalls are open to Minecraft and java, and she can get onto my worlds, I just can't get onto hers. Please help.
Is her server running exact same version of forge, and mods (same mods, same version)?
This happened to my son and it was do to the above quote. In his case, my wife and I had the exact same mods but my son had an additional mod installed. It usually is most affected by mods that add additional blocks/items. You may also want to make sure you are using the same Java version; Java versions can usually read/handle older versions but older can't read/process newer versions. This is why mods compiled in 1.6 can be played by people running 1.7/1.8 but those compiled in 1.7 can't be played by those running 1.6.
Just a few possibilities to consider.
