When I start Minecraft it doesn't respond, freezing on the loading Mojang screen. It gives me an error and leads me to a crash help page that says "This error occurs when the game does not have enough memory, or RAM, to continue." Ive gone through all the steps it tells you to fix with no result. I dont know why memory would be a problem anyways. Any help to get my game back would be great, had minecraft for almost 2 years and this is the first time it has completely stopped working.

hmm part of the solution it says is to install the correct java (which i did) then enter check and enter something into the jvm arguments box.

Actually, that's false for me. I use Java 8 running on 1.8.1 & 1.8 and the Java Arguments box selected with 1GB of RAM. (Actually it was 861MB.)
