This morning I tried to load up minecraft and it worked fine but when I went onto some of my usual multiplayer servers, I was lagging very badly and would eventually disconnect from the game due to the lag. I thought this was weird because I had been playing the night before and everything was perfectly fine. I tried to delete my .minecraft folder and start again but the launcher would stop downloading the new files and i would have to click "Play" again. So after a while of trying to download a new folder, I decided to just go back to my old .minecraft folder. However, this time, the game either wont get past the launcher or it will the launcher will just close when I hit "play". It's stuck on trying to download files or something. On the profile I use, I have Forge Mod Loader as well as OptiFine and a few other mods. I have never had a problem like this before, even when using mods. Could this be my internet? I thought for sure it was but when I play League of Legends, I don't seem to lag at all.

Post a crash report or if there isn't one, after you' get kicked off due to lag, or just start the game and nothing happens, go back to the MC launcher and copy paste contents of launcher log + game output here.
