This is my first post here, so I'm hoping for the best!
I recently played Minecraft on my computer with no problems. Day-before-yesterday I tried to load it up and I wasn't able to. I've tried to update my graphics card (it was already updated) and I deleted the .minecraft folder (no help there). I also updated Java to no avail. Is there anything else I can do? I have an Asus with 64 bit Windows 8. Any help would be appreciated. I'm not great with computers, so please dumb down the help. I received the following error:

I did that. I received the same Minecraft error and I'm unable to load the game. I read somewhere that it could just be that a lot of computers can no longer handle Minecraft. Is that my case?

No, that is false. It's just drivers not being cooperative.
I tried downloading the Asus driver. Still no luck. Thanks for all your help, though.
There's still one thing to try, that is forcing the Intel driver to install. To do this you must use either 7zip or Winrar to open the .exe file from Intel, and extracting it. Then follow the instructions below
Press the Windows Key and X.
A menu should appear, click on Device Manager.
Expand Display Adapters.
Right click on the Intel one and select Update Driver Software.
Click "Browse..."
Select "Let me pick..."
Click "Have Disk..."
Then click "Browse"
Navigate to where you've extracted the contents of the .exe file.
Head into the \Graphics folder
Select the .inf file in there
Click Ok
Then select the only one on the list.
Click next.
It should now start installing, the screen will flash periodically, this is normal.

Retired StaffThere's still one thing to try, that is forcing the Intel driver to install. To do this you must use either 7zip or Winrar to open the .exe file from Intel, and extracting it. Then follow the instructions below
