Ive Been experiancing Problems with my minecraft crashing

Plz help

What version are you using, what are you doing when it happens, and have you tampered with any of the source files?

MatthewStevenGo I'm using Java 8, I tried on Java 7 and that doesn't work either,

Eli_8 I am using Minecraft 1.8/1.8.1 and it doesn't work, But 1.7.10- Works. All i do is click play and It crashes, Btw it doesnt say crash, it says Game Output. I Do use Mods sometimes, and it was working earlyer that day and then i installed some mods and it stopped working.

I Also have my own private server for me and my friends.

You have a corrupted JSON file on your disk somewhere. Because it's the server crashing (as opposed to the launcher) I'm going to jump to the conclusion that it is one of the JSON files inside your save directory. The only JSON files in there are player statistics. You can either try to do surgery if you really care about your game play statistics or just delete all of the files in .minecraft/saves/<Your World>/stats If you want to be conservative you can just move them to another directory called "backup" or something and see whether my suggestion fixes your problem.

Have you tried deleting the version and letting it redownload; this happened to my son and that is what fixed it.

Delete the Users.cache file,C:\Users\****\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\libraries\com\google somewhere in here I think.

Thank You! I finally Found My Usercache.json File Right in my .minecraft Folder!

Now i can get back to working on my server!

So it was the usercache? I didn't realize that the server code used that file directly. Thanks for the info.
