I can get the launcher up fine, but when I hit play, it just crashes. It's been happening over and over again.
I got a new, clean install of WIndows 8.1. It ran Minecraft when it was Win 7 just fine.
System specs:
Windows 8.1
AMD Athlon II P340-Dual Core 2.20 GHz
4 GB RAM
64-bit OS, x64-based processor
