Got this game for my 9yr son back in June. The game works on his grandmas laptop just fine but I have been trying and trying to figure out why it won't work on my home desktop computer. When we go to play the game it brings up the loading screen but stays white. after a few sec you will here the minecraft music so I know the game has loaded but there is no picture. Just stays as a white screen. Can't do anything. I looked and looked and looked everywhere online for a solution and nothing that I have found has worked. I know the computer is plenty big enough for this game, I have the Sims 3 with all of the packs installed on here and it runs just fine. I have also gone to %temp% and deleted temp files, I have also reinstalled this game several times. I also have updated the Java to version 8. I have also tried ATLauncher and it does the same exact thing. I don't know what else to try. This really gets under my skin, it is stupid to spend money on a game and it doesn't work. That's a waste and unfair to the child who plays it. Does anyone have any ideas why this game refuses to work on my desktop? Thank you for your time and efforts.

Not very old. It was completely rebuilt about 5 yrs ago and updated less than a year ago. Here's a little bit about it: Windows 7 Professional, AMD Phenom(tm) II X3 720 Processor 2.80 GHz, 8.00 GB Ram, 64bit Operating System. NVidia GeForce 8400 GS
