Hello MC Forums!

I am trying to install 5 mods for a friend. It seems that two of the mods Elemental Powers and Ore Spawn are not compatible with each other? I have tested either or with the other mods, and they work correctly, but when they are run together, I crash.

List of Mods:

Lucky Block 1.7.10

Dragon Mounts 1.7.10

Elemental Powers 1.7.10

Ore Spawn 1.7.10

and Forge 1.7.10

If you already know the conflicting mods and why, why not try report it to the authors? As this likely requires modification in the code, they're the ones to help you with it.

If I was confident enough to know that the problem was incompatibility between the mods and not my own user error, do you think I would have been asking ?

Oh, sorry. You sounded like you already figured out the cause. It isn't you I think. There is an entity ID overlap. I do not think this is something you can alter in the config the way you used to be able to for blocks and items so the author has to take a look at this. In my (very limited) knowledge of this, I'm guessing one mod was assigned entity ID by forge and another hard coded the same ID for some other entity and hence the conflict. But I'm only guessing here. You're safe to report this I think and ask what to do. Make sure you try removing other mods, and checking that it's indeed with those two alone that this happens.

2 Mr. Crayfish's Furniture mod

3 Not Enough Items'

All for 1.7.10

If they don't work together, please let me know.
