When my friend downloaded minecraft forge 1.7.10, she could run the mod in singleplayer. However when she attempted to join our friend's server with the same version, she can't connect to the server. Or any server for that matter. (This includes vanilla ones)
Now we ended up having to do a manual install, and that still didn't work. We couldn't run the installer because halfway through the installing process it crashes for no reason.
Afterwards I just went for broke and sent her my entire .minecraft files, which is what I had (a working version that allowed for server connectivity) and alas, that didn't work.
Is there something I'm missing here? She ended up trying my version of forge and even that didn't work. Do we need anything else for that? Thanks if anyone can help out in any way.
