I'm fairly new to Minecraft and LOVE it... I play on my laptop.
Recently, I have noticed several massive chunks have disappeared/opened in my world. It's mostly in one location but seems to be spreading. Also, when mining I have reached an area near these missing chunks and everything is black, if I place a torch it lights up one single block and nothing else.
Also... I am unable to access an entire area of my world... as soon as I get to a specific point, the game crashes. I visited this area when I first started this world but now I cannot get there at all from any direction!
I'm not incredibly tech savvy but can follow directions...
Looks like your world is corrupted now - If you don't want to start again, you have 2 options:
Deal with it (If the bugs are now fixed, you can tear down your house, move a few hundred blocks and rebuild it)
I saw a while ago a thread where a guy was taking corrupted maps and fixing them for people. If you can find that thread or one similar to it, you might be able to find someone who can fix it.

since the bug fixed the world chunks I am going to keep playing for now.... I will deal with not being able to reach part of the map.. I have a LOT of time invested in this world already!!! Most of it is in an area away from the "frozen zone" .... I will keep this info though and if I need to I will contact someone for a fix!!

Curse PremiumPut u world in a compressd file (ZIP, RAR, ACE, 7ZIP, ...) upload it to an fielhoster and give the link. We will try to fix it for u.
For faster fix, tell what Minecraft Version u play and what Version u create the world.
