Okay I install minecraft forge because I what to play with the Harken mod but when I Run minecraft 1.7.2 it works perfect but as soon as I download forge 1.7.2 and run minecraft, minecraft doesn't load up no window appears I just click play finishes loading and nothing happens I have tried different minecraft forges but still doesn't work!!! PLZ ANY HELP I WOULD BE SO GRATEFULL REALLY WANT MODS FOR 1.7.2!!!!

I have had the exact same problem! I was just about t create a post about it. When I launch forge 1.7.2 on my Lenovo nothing happens at all. Its strange. Some help plz!

Copy/paste Launcher log + Game Output off your launcher window.

I Didn't have any mods just Forge!

How Do I Fix This?

You're running 1.7.2 forge with java 8. Switch that profile to point to java 7 (under Edit Profile on MC launcher).

How do you do that? Point a User (Or Minecraft) To Java 7 ?

Go to your launcher, hit edit profile and alter the file path of the executable.
