Every once in a while, when I am playing in a Minecraft world, a horrendous extremely loud whooshing sound will play, and I will be kicked out my world, but Minecraft will stay open. I am left with this message on the screen: "A fatal error has occurred, this connection is terminated." Interestingly, I get left off at the multiplayer select screen, despite being on a singleplayer world. And whenever I try to rejoin the world the sound plays again and I get kicked out again, rendering the world unusable. The sound is very, very loud, and sounds like static, or a very strong wind. A huge amount of information is also dumped into my Minecraft log, but it doesn't look meaningful. I can put it on pastebin if anyone would like. Has anyone else encountered this?
While I'm not at all certain this is the only reason, one of the errors is related to Meteorcraft. I'm guessing the loud sound is that it spawns near you. There used to be a an issue with meteorcraft some time back but I'm not certain if it was fixed or not. Either check for a fix/newer version or take out meteorcraft for now.
