[quote=webrosc;/members/webrosc;/forums/support/unmodified-minecraft-client/2284228-memory-problems?comment=4]i see, your using a 512x resource pack and only allocating 1G, try using a lower resolution one,
remember base minecraft uses a 16x one and by default allocates about 500MB
also your java is out of date, try running the apple software updater (though i know apple seems to prefer for some reason to use 1.6)
I am using the default pack those are the undeleted failures of the past. I will try the new java though I dont know how to.
doesn't look default to me, if for some reason minecraft is saying this but the pack is not in your folders, please reinstall minecraft by opening the launcher, clicking edit profile, then the open game dir button, select all folders/file apart from the saves folder, and delete.

Moderatordoesn't look default to me, if for some reason minecraft is saying this but the pack is not in your folders, please reinstall minecraft by opening the launcher, clicking edit profile, then the open game dir button, select all folders/file apart from the saves folder, and delete.
