One day, I noticed I was lagging. When I checked my RAM, its was at 512MB. I checked my Java arguments, and it's set like it is in the pictures. In fact, this problem happens for all profile's. So far, I have reinstalled Java 8, Build 25, both 64-bit and 32-bit versions, redid .minecraft and the launcher. So if you have any idea's as to why it is doing it, please tell.
4GB might be too much and isn't leaving enough RAM for the rest of your PC with only 8GB, do you get this issue when MC is the only program running? Chrome can be a memory hog so check Task Manager to see how much RAM is being used in your system with and without MC running.
