Since Friday when trying to make a new account I get

Register new Mojang Account

Error! Sorry, we can’t set up your account at the moment. We are currently updating our system - but it shouldn’t be long



Anyone know when I will be able to register? My 7 year old bought Mincraft with his birthday money and is anxiously waiting to play the game.

I have been having the same issue all week. I emailed majong but have yet to receive a response. I tried creating an account at minecraft.net as well as the majong website.

Thanks, at least I know it's not just me. Anyone else?

I've tried a maybe 20 times to register since Saturday. It's really crazy that their hasn't been more internet buzz about this... Thanks for starting the post. ( I've just joined the forums for this issue )

I've been trying to register accounts for my kids since Saturday and it hasn't worked. I've tried at least 10 times.

I've been getting this message:

I'm shocked that google results for this message are nil...
Maybe everyone in the world except for my kids has an account.

When will I be able to register an account? Soon usually means hours, not days.
