Hello all,
So I was doing stuff with mods (about 120 of them) and minecraft was crashing with an out of memory space. Upon further inspection, the JVM flag "-Xmx512M" is being added to the JVM arguments and "Picked up _JAVA_OPTIONS: -Xmx512M" is printed in the console when the game closes. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling java. Also, let me make this clear _JAVA_OPTIONS DOES NOT EXIST AS AN ENVIRONMENT VARIABLE. I do also know how to set my JVM flags and to allocate more memory to MC. -Xmx512M is being appended to my JVM args OVERRIDING my existing arguments I set. No matter what I do, it's always 512M. I have also tried redownloading minecraft, rebooting my computer, and deleting %APPDATA%\.minecraft. This also ONLY happens with Minecraft.exe

The golden rule when asking for support: "Crashlogs or it didn't happen"
