I do apologize starting a new thread but I have a quick question regarding Minecraft and playing on a MAC modded. I am very inexperienced when it comes to Apple OS, but a friend of mine is playing with a macbook with OSX mavericks and she is having issues with installing forge. Standard minecraft works just fine, however when she install a few mods she constantly crashes. I believe it pertains specifically to the java version she is using since she has the latest Java 8 update 25, and I'm trying to find a way to bring her down to java 7. Does anyone have any tips specifically for this? The current one that shows up says its JDK 1.6.0 under the launcher. I will attempt to obtain more information as soon as they become available including crash report, mods, and other factors but I do believe it is specifically related to her java install first. Thanks in advance!
