Here's my gist below. Is there any luck in me trying to run Minecraft on this PC, or is the Intel graphics card too old? I tried to get updated drivers on the Intel site, but now dice. I appreciate any help anyone can give so my daughter can use her birthday Minecraft download. Thanks!
Sorry to break it to you, but that GPU is just too old. If you have a peek at the system requirements you can see that your graphics card needs to support at least OpenGL 2.1, but if you have a look here (look at the third row of "older graphics products") you'll notice that your card (Q965) only supports version 1.4. You'll need to buy a new graphics card (Minecraft won't need much - I run it on a card I found on the side of the road ;3) and put it in your PC to get it running.
