I confirmed the recipe online and in NEI, copied the recipe from NEI into my craft table, dropped all the items in and it shows the proper output item as a Machine Frame, however, when I try to click on it to create it, it just does nothing. I am stuck wondering what is going on. Any help?
Sometimes, server owners could change the recipe (either in-built to the mod or a side-mod), but if you are running a different config it won't show.
NEI is pulling information from your client to determine recipes, but crafting is ultimately a server function. So if your recipe's and the server's don't align, you perhaps need to upgrade your modpack or contact server admin.
Single Player
If this is Single player, go into the config and check a few settings:
B:MachineFrame.AllowSteel=true
B:MachineFrame.RequireSteel=false
It is possible that it is requiring steel when you are trying to use iron. I would also just double-check all the supplies and make sure you really have what you think you have in your inventory. Can't say how many hours of my life has been lost trying to use invar instead of iron...
