When building something in my world, I noticed that there's light shining in through the windows but I looked al laround outside and there's not a single light source that could be doing that. Also if this helps, I used MCEdit to make the stone slab floor.
Here's what it looks like. No light sources. I've already tried relighting the area in MCEdit but that did nothing.
That is a known bug (MC-18526). Unfortunately it seems to still be in 1.8 .
Try using F3 to figure out where the light is brightest, then place/destroy blocks near that area and it should go away. You can also try F3+A to reload all chunks (though I don't know if that works).

It seems to be the glass that the light is coming from because I tried replacing a section of the glass with another block and then putting it back to glass and it worked, it got rid of the light. This is a large three story building where almost the entire walls are glass so I guess I'll just have to wait for a fix... In the next update, hopefully!
