Whenever I boot up my old worlds from before 1.8 using the newest version of Minecraft, I can play just fine for a while, but whenever I go a few chunks from where I spawned, my game crashes. I don't get a crash log or anything; it just closes and reopens the launcher as if nothing happened. My progress gets saved and everything, but this is making it impossible for me to leave my base, and being restricted to just mining is getting kind of boring. This doesn't happen when I load new worlds, just ones made before 1.8. I looked around on here and did a Google search and couldn't find anyone else who had this problem. Anyone know how I can fix this?
