It was running fine yesterday, then I installed a mod-installer, and tried playing it again.... the launcher opened, I clicked play, and it disappeared like it always does right before the Minecraft screen pops up, but nothing happened. Clicked play online on the launcher, the launcher disappeared, and then nothing happened. Not a error message, or anything. Nothing at all. I uninstalled/deleted the mod-installer to see if that helped, but it didn't. Also tried uninstalling Java and reinstalling it, but that didn't work either.
Where it says launcher log, the last column should say Game Output. Copy paste that part. Oh and before you do that, hit Edit Profile when the launcher is open, and from the dropdown menu of one of the options, set the launcher to stay always up otherwise you're gonna have trouble copying the report.
It's the minecraft launcher. If you have the latest version of the launcher and you should since it automatically updates, it should have 4 columns once you hit play. Game news, launcher log, profile editor and game output. Don't forge to hit edit profile in the bottom left corner and set launcher to stay always on and not close once the game starts.

There will be a crash-reports folder in your .minecraft. That is where you get the log.

Don't know if that's the one or not but it looks like it does the job.
