i recently moved my "C:/users/"me"/appdata/roaming" folder to "D:/users/"me"/appdata/roaming". i get this error in the launcher:

is there any way i can make minecraft see that its installed on the "D" drive?

Everything under C:\Users\"you" is part of your Windows user profile. You can just move one directory without breaking all kinds of things.

If you want minecraft to put its stuff somewhere else, there are ways to do that. You can't have your windows user profile split into pieces though.
