I'm allocating 1G of ram(max) and I think it's using roughly around 300-400 MB on a newly created world that I'm playing in. Videocard problem should probably be GL Render Error? I'm not a programmer so don't quote me on that.
Yeah may be a openGL error but how many mods do you have? I made a custom modpack (120 mods )and a friend can't run it since he can only use 1.5gb of ram on minecraft.

My brother plays on the same computer(spec-wise) and is working totally fine. That should be my computer problem. Mind showing me what's the problem and how to fix OpenGL(Advanced OpenGL off/on doesn't matter)?
Sometimes the game works like a charm(no problem, no spikes) but otherwise it's just keep on lagging.
It seems to be the case. I think the bottleneck is on the CPU. My hypothesis is sometimes my computer use up too much cpu and it starts to lag(which I don't know what's causing it). 4 chunks and Fancy on 1.7.10(forge loaded only) is no problem.
The issue is probably more like system lag due to page file access. 1GB of ram with those mods is barely enough, so every time the game has to access the page file, there will be lag.

Out of topic question but I was running the game at 200 MB of ram using at start but still lags, so it means that page file access have no relation to it?
Here's my ram usage and base progress.
Either CPU or GPU bottleneck. Check the Shift + F3 profiler and see what is largest. If render is maxing out, then GPU is bogged down, if Tick is, well that can be either CPU bottleneck or there is A LOT of heavy ticking entities.
If wanted, you can use the little standalone tool to monitor the GPU. The Sensors tab will have Load sensor on it, if it is maxed and your game is low FPS, fair to say GPU is just unable to keep up. But by looks, it most probably is the culprit.
It can. If your computer has to access the page file, then it can impact your fps in games, so more ram CAN increase fps.
Since the op has windows xp, he can only have 4gb of ram including vram. In would bet any thing it's a page file issue over anything else.
After a bit of testing, my on board gpu seems to not work on gpu-z so work load can't be tracked, seems to have spike whenever the cpu stop ticking(>100%) and gpu memory seems fine, as well as ram. I'm also using a unlocked AMD Sempron 140(Athlon II x2 4400e) for a looooong time already, though I forgot if I passed the prime95 test though(I'm lazy to sit and wait for hours). Oh by the way I said a lot of time already before but sometimes it can be played normally without spikes(launch, fail then relaunch, repeat), and my fps is usually around 30-50.
And would you look at that. 2.17GB of page file used. Called it!
Given your specs from what I gather, your system... isnt that great. CPU seems like its working hard, your page file is high. Its a case of over taxking your system coupled with high page file access.

That looks normal and is being done by Prefetch most commonly (Windows XP Prefetch wasn't the most optimized). The machine has 1.2~GiB of free physical ram.
The issue is with the awful GPU and CPU. An by awful to say by compare; the GPU almost worse if not is worse than the Intel GMA 945/965 performance wise. CPU is the bottom of the barrel.
System is just not really able to perform at this level. GPU is very old and weak as well CPU sadly to say.

I just worked on a computer today. Pentium 4, only had 19 processes running and a page file of 300MB. So to say 2GB of page file with XP is normal... that is just silly.
The OP only had 1GB of memory allocated to Minecraft ON TOP of running mods. Page file is indeed an issue.

CPU is really the problem. Seems like System is running around 10-20% when I launch a world. I don't know why and what does that. RAM only around 1.63 GB(on launch). Tested only ONCE. Sorry about that because I'm a very lazy person.
Can someone explain why is that happening? Using up that portion of system speed is enough to kill my game hard. It seems like that's also the reason why sometimes it worked like a charm.
Your overall system just isn't up to par with the requirements of the game. It functions, but not well. Expect lag when you don't have the proper hardware to support the game.
Plus Id wager you have a lot of unnecessary crap running in the background. Just based on your process list, it doesn't look like any maintenance has ever been done on your system.
As I said I'm a lazy person, but can I have some suggestions on how to clean up unnecessary stuffs? It's been like a year or 2 of just leave it there. Thanks for the help I suppose, and sorry for the trouble.
I wasn't expecting that because It runs Minecraft 1.6.4 fine with like 97 mods(Crash Landing 1.1.2 Beta 2) well until mid game?

Do you have a good videocard or enough RAM allocated to minecraft? Im sure it's something else but that may be the lag problem.
I used to have lagspikes till i got more RAM and im getting a videocard later
Sometimes the game works like a charm(no problem, no spikes) but otherwise it's just keep on lagging.
I recommend changing them to Render distance Tiny and Graphics Fast and getting Optifine to change some setting to make it faster.
But 54 mods and 1gb of ram is not enough for minecraft.
Try running vanilla minecraft (no mods) and see if it won't lag, but custom modpacks use allot of memory so im sorry about that.
