When I go to create a new map and use the Superflat option, I can customize what blocks will be used. What I'm trying to do is create a map with Dirt on layer 0, air on layers 1 through 19, and Grass on layer 20. I ran this through a code generator and came out with "2;3:1,19x0,2;1;", which works perfectly. When I enter it into the custom preset box, I get Coarse Dirt - Bottom 1, Air - 19, Grass Block - Top 1. The problem is, if I hit "Done", everything resets back to the default Superflat setup (Bedrock, Dirt x 2)... I can't figure out how to make it stop resetting and there are no guides to be found online.

This doesn't happen to me, but just remember, this is 1.8. There are many new bugs to be discovered. I have not tried to use a preset yet for it, so I don't know if it works or not. You may have found a bug, which will probably get fixed in the near future. Stay with it man. It's not the end of the world, so it's ok. Sorry this doesn't work, or I am not helping, I don't know what the problem is. But just saying if you found a bug, you should be proud of yourself
