Help! I got the famous java.langnullpointerexception error, and it said, my firewall was blocking a part of the program, allow this part of the program? So I clicked allow, and then tried to play, and it crashed, I then deleted my .minecraft folder, and I checked avast, and it said my java was updated, so I opened it, it crashed, I deleted minecraft, the program and tried reinstalling it, and then opened the launcher, I don't know how to show you what the launcher looks like, but it says net.minecraft.bootstrap.fatalbootstraperror. I have no idea what this means, and no one has the answer to this it seems, I've tried everything. Please reply, I'm getting kind of panicky.
Hey! this is the full report of the file error, can someone please help? I've gone a long time without minecraft, and I'm kind of freaking out, like, what if it's a virus? PLEASE HELP ME D=
You probably have some applications that are blocking the connections that download the files needed. Try disabling Avast. You can re-enable it after you have downloaded all the files required.
ok, thank you so much XD but also, my java isn't being "verified" what's up with that? It's enabled in my web browser, and I checked to make sure it was installed, I even tried reinstalling it.
