Hi, I'm powerblo. I have a major problem with my client, and that's a problem named a "turtle minecart". I was trying to build a tree farm for my base and the cart is moving, but moving slowly, stopping and then moving again. Also in the cart assembler, even when I put the engine in, it doesn't show the engine animation when I right click the screen. And yep, when running with coal power it also doesn't show the burning animation.(I wasn't using any other engines, and the coal engine was on highest priority.) It was planting the saplings and cutting the trees like such, but much slower than my other experiences.(I tried it before) I was wondering if it was a problem with the mod, but vanilla(actually railcraft) minecarts don't work neither. They even work slowly on slopes. I can't do my woodchopping by hand, and I need a lot of wood for my next project. If anyone can help me, please leave a comment!
What is your cart config. As in parts and all. Also what version of MC?
I have no issues with my hardened tree farm cart in Running Red modpack (1.6.4 MC).
It is as follow:
Hardened Hull and Tree Cutter.
Coal and Solar Engine (normal ones).
Side + 3 Internal chests.
Fertilizer and 2 advanced smelters.
exotic tree addon.
The fertilizer is auto supplied by cargo manager from one side, inventory taken from another. One Smelter makes 256 charcoal and no more and another makes 64 for the engine only due to solar is not always going to work. The Coal engine is set on medium priority and solar high.
