Suddenly today after pressing the Singleplayer button I get a red screen and the following message:
Unable to load worlds
Unable to read or access folders where game worlds are saved!
I have searched the forum and googled and only came across one reply which suggested checking the security and access settings for the folder that contains the worlds. I have done this and there are no restrictions there. Nothing has changed in my system since I played Minecraft with no issue a couple of days ago. I am running the latest version of java, so no issue there. How do I fix this? FIXED

For the development console log: Click Edit Profile, then check Launcher Visibility, select Keep Launcher Open and finally hit Save Profile. This will ensure that the log is kept open after launching the game.
U will have now the launcher open and in a 4 rap the log will be visible.

Depending on u Operating System make sure u are the owner of the Minecraft folder and the Save folder.
(also look if the "level.dat" file in u world folder not wright protected.)
A suggestion i can make is: try deleting all Minecraft files (make backup of u worlds in the save folder) and redownloadable Minecraft.
